Missoula's ski resort, Montana Snowbowl, is inexpensive, easy to get to, and a great beginner and intermediate mountain.

Where is Montana Snowbowl?

Montana Snowbowl is located just north of Missoula. From the Bitterroot Valley, follow US 93 right through Missoula. US 93 becomes Reserve Street in Missoula and then turns into Grant Creek Road on the north side of I-90. Follow Grant Creek Road for just under 4 miles and turn left onto Snow Bowl Road. Snowbowl is located just 20 minutes north of downtown Missoula.

When is Montana Snowbowl open?

Montana Snowbowl is open from early December through mid April. The resort is open Friday through Sunday until late December and then open daily for the rest of the season.

  • Adult Half Day: $43

What other activities can I enjoy at Snowbowl?

This is Missoula's skiing and snowboarding mountain. A small lodge offers food at the base area and there are rentals and lessons available. During the summer months, visitors can hike and bike, or play a round of frisbee golf.
