Overview
In the heart of the Bitterroot Mountains you will find the grandeur Daly Mansion. Earning great wealth during the Montana mining boom of the late 1800's, Marcus Daly wasted no time upgrading this once modest farmhouse into the magnificence you see today.
The “farmhouse” boasts over 50 rooms, 25 bedrooms, 7 fireplaces complete with imported Italian marble, and what mansion would be complete without a third floor billiard hall. Not bad for this once humble Irish immigrant.
The Daly mansion alone is impressive but when surrounded by 46 acres your mouth drops a bit more. With the leafy canopy above and the soft hills of the lawn, this is the perfect sight for a picnic lunch. Imagine the yard, once full of over 300 racing horses, the largest stock in the country.

From Hamilton, head east on E Main St. The road turns north and the Daly Mansion will be on the left.

Open May 14th thru October 8th, 2017.
Holiday Tours available Thanksgiving through mid December.
Tours hourly 10:00am to 4:00pm, by appointment only in the off season.
